The mission of Wu Yee Children's Services is to create opportunities for children to be healthy and for families to thrive.

It ensures high-quality childcare to more than 4,000 children through Head Start, family services, and family child care provider support programs at its 12 San Francisco centers — many located in Asian-American and Latinx communities — and serves meals to more than 2,000 children a day.

The organization has an ongoing need to hire qualified early childhood education specialists working in a variety of roles, from entry-level teaching assistants to resource associates and lead teachers. Because the centers are funded through Head Start and Early Head Start, the credentialing needs are complex and strict, and even candidates with the appropriate degree or years of experience may not meet the state and federal requirements.

Roccam has advertised openings on a wide variety of online platforms, including Instagram, and helped Wu Yee hire almost 20 educators in just eight months, many of whom are bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish. Roccam's recruiting specialist has also developed a relationship with San Francisco City College to build a stronger pipeline of candidates, referring them to the college's credentialing programs so they can secure the right permits.
