The organization has an ongoing need to hire qualified early childhood education specialists working in a variety of roles, from entry-level teaching assistants to resource associates and lead teachers. Because the centers are funded through Head Start and Early Head Start, the credentialing needs are complex and strict, and even candidates with the appropriate degree or years of experience may not meet the state and federal requirements.
Roccam has advertised openings on a wide variety of online platforms, including Instagram, and helped Wu Yee hire almost 20 educators in just eight months, many of whom are bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish.
