Carolyn Hodge is a Bay Area recruitment expert focusing on building entrepreneurial teams for human services, social justice, and national non-profit organizations. Known for helping her clients go beyond the safe choices to identify high potential, diverse, emerging leaders of tomorrow. With senior level marketing experience in startup management teams she excels at finding a fit for entrepreneurial teams. In the non-profit executive search arena she has filled Deputy Director, Managing Director, COO, Director of Programs for social justice, youth leadership, aging services, paratransit services and more.
Carolyn began her career at Edelman Public Relations in Washington D.C., spent seven years leading communications and marketing for a non-profit privacy association and managed the organization’s transition to a now 30M+ for profit. She holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from George Washington University.
Account Manager, Recruiter
Leslie manages non-profit, human services clients with multiple continuously open positions. Leslie has spent over 10 years as a communications and marketing account manager for clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, travel and food & beverage primarily focused on marketing, recruiting and business processes. As a recruiter, Leslie’s passion is matching the ideal candidate with the position that suits them. She takes candidate abilities, both client and candidate needs and opportunity into account when conducting a search. Prior to joining Roccam, Leslie was an untiring recruiter in the areas of administrative support, restaurant management and restaurant front of house staff with her most recent work at Marengo Restaurant Group.
Leslie holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of San Francisco.
Eve Diamond, Recruiter
Eve brings over 15 years of progressive expertise in account and project management to Roccam Recruiting. She has exceptional skills in communication and making purposeful connections with people and teams. She thrives on building and managing superior client relationships. Prior to joining Roccam Recruiting, she produced marketing events at Google, and managed award-winning consumer-based marketing programs at an experiential marketing agency.
She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Wellesley College.
Jeanie Lipscombe, Recruiter
Jeanie has a natural drive to deliver top notch customer service to every client. Her background Directing Special Events lead her to onboard hundreds of transportation staff for events such as the Super Bowl, US Open Tennis, MLB All Star Week, and many others. After moving to California in 2010, Jeanie started a fitness business, recruiting personal trainers to work with her and share her vision for providing clients with onsite personal training services. Jeanie’s commitment to making every client a VIP is what makes her a sure fit for our team at Roccam Recruiting. She holds a B.A. in Communications Studies from S.U.N.Y. Cortland.
Mercedes Chu, Recruiting Coordinator
Mercedes has a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and building and maintaining lasting relationships. Prior to joining Roccam, Mercedes was an HR consultant at a leading HR & Finance management firm where she handled the full range of outsourced hiring, onboarding, benefits, claims and payroll for multiple medium sized clients at a time including the recruitment of senior to entry-level positions. She helped foster company mission and culture across various industries and developed processes and procedures to create efficiency and streamline tasks. Prior to entering the HR world, Mercedes was a Realtor in the Bay Area. Her ability to think outside the box, execute creative solutions, and get things done are valued assets on our team.
She holds a B.A. in Economics and Biology from the University of California, Davis.
